Tip 1: Introduce new vocabulary before using it in lesson plans




The teacher can create, as a part of the regular class routine, a list of words at the beginning of each week to open a discussion about the meaning. Also, you can use this words to practice them in sentences on the class assignments.

You can post each word for the week at the front of the classroom, with a visual aid conveying its meaning to help students to understand them. That way, they can focus on the learning objectives of the lesson.


Tip 2: Incorporate technology






We live in a digital world, kids are growing up among digital technologies, tools, and apps. The teacher can introduce it in a curriculum and lesson plan. Also, you can improve your own digital skills as well as your students. Some apps like Duolingo, Bussu, Wlingua, Babbel among others are really useful for these purposes.


Tip 3: Practice different teaching strategies




The teacher has to know the different needs of his students. He has to know who has a low or high level in his class. Teachers have to encourage their students to show their learning with more participation and imagination. You can mix students with high level and low level. That way, they can learn a lot because of work in the group, and they can teach each other new and interesting skills. If your class improves, your students will like it and enjoy it more.
